No matter what the occasion is, we know that finding the perfect dress can be just as stressful as creating a seating chart. Some won’t go shopping until they drop a few pounds, some like to postpone the inevitable and others just hate the process especially when it entails taking finicky teenagers. No doubt, females can be difficult. But how about our boys? The big boys and the little boys? Yes, it seems like it’s easier for them to get a suit, shirt and tie, but dragging males to the malls on game days or any day is a feat in itself.
Our friends at Jonathan Reed, a premier retailer for boys and men’s dresswear, told us that vests and bow ties are really “hip” for season right now. Not only can they suit up the boys, but they have a great selection for dads too, plus in house tailoring and easy parking. For our little men who are attending the mitzvah party circuit, it is suggested that they have some basics in their wardrobe like great slacks, printed shirts as well as a few ties and solid shirts to mix up a bit.
For the big boys, take a look at this great guide we found on GQ.com. It’s not about how much the suit costs. It’s about how the suit fits. An inexpensive well fitting suit can look like a million bucks, while an expensive ill fitting one, well, you get the point…
Here are some ideas on what’s hot for men of all sizes this season so you can be sure to send yours off to any event STYLED.
