What do you get when you take one vivacious pre-teen, a couple of proud parents and a great and talented photographer to the BIG apple? A fabulous backdrop for a Bat Mitzvah pre-shoot that’s what! Riding subways, playing in Central Park, walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and of course stopping in Dylan’s Candy Bar inspired the design for this special event.
Traditionally, New York colors tend to be black, white, yellow and red. However, we wanted to change things up a bit since our Guest of Honor loves hot pink. In order to obtain a more sleek, chic and feminine look we popped pink in the linens and in the floral decor. The mirrored skyscraper centerpieces were labeled with some of the most infamous city street names and gave a modern updated feel.
Nonetheless, the highlight of the event space was the construction of a replica Brooklyn Bridge. This tied the room together and was a natural focal point amid the larger than life images of Maya in Manhattan.
Just like Radio City Music Hall, Ricky and his Rock With U crew had guests kicking up their feet all night long. Palm Caterers served up some delicious NYC signature specialty items and guests big and small got to stop at the newsstand on the way out to pick up some late night treats along with the Sunday paper. Weston may now be the city that never sleeps since this party was going non-stop until Sunday morning.
Start spreading the news… Happy guests and happy hosts always make for a STYLED EVENT.
