It’s that time of year! The smell of pumpkin spice lattes is in the air and the sound of holiday tunes will soon be everywhere. The invites to holiday parties will start filling your inbox and your mailbox. They will start at Halloween and go through New Years. What are you going to do? We suggest you be ready and be prepared to have a fun filled holiday season.
A good guest always RSVPs in a timely manner, dresses appropriately, is punctual, watches alcohol consumption and never shows up empty handed. We can’t help you with the first few things, but we can certainly help you with the last.
We like to suggest great hostess gifts that you can purchase in advance and have on hand. Of course, food items and bottles of wine are always appreciated. But if you don’t have time to constantly run out to grab some spirits or to bake some cookies, we recommend shopping ahead. This is also a good idea in case there is a last minute party invite. Items don’t have to be expensive either, just a nicely wrapped token gift to say, “Thank you!” is enough.

Everyone always loves fresh flowers. But if you choose to bring a bunch, it’s considerate to bring them in a vase so the hostess doesn’t have to run around searching for something to put them in. Stock up on some clear inexpensive vases at your local craft store and pick up some fresh petals at the grocery store on your way to the party.
Enjoy the holiday festivities this season, stay safe and always be STYLED!
